Alright so I'm a little slow, Easter was what, almost 3 weeks ago? As usual we had a super fun Easter party at my parents house. The kids had the traditional easter egg hunt in the yard. I can't believe how fast they have grown! Usually we have to help them find the eggs- this year we had to keep them from tackling eachother! Ok so it wasn't that bad but as you can see, Shae was in the zone.

This is one of my favorite pictures ever! They all have such different personalities but they just love to be together and love to be at Grandma's house!

After the fun easter egg hunt and great food (thanks Marci for the deviled eggs- even though the paprika was lacking ;) ) I headed back up to the Liechty's house for some 'Girls Night In' Easter egg coloring with Lini and Kylie.

After a few eggs we tried to be really artsy and creative using stickers, glitter, rubber bands, markers, even a razor but we decided we should probably just stick with the kits they give us. Ha ha ha Heres how they turned out.

Festival of Colors!

If you know me at all, you probably know I am OBSESSED with anything that has to do with India and it just so happens my best friend Mckenna also happens to be India crazy as well. Lucky for us we can get our own little taste of India just down the road in Spanish Fork at the Sri Sri Radha Krsna Temple. Last weekend they had their Festival of Colors to welcome in Spring. Basically its just an excuse to be crazy and throw around colored corn powder at everyones face- but hey its a good time.

Mckenna drove 10+ hours straight from California so she wouldnt miss the event! (We try to go to all the Krsna Festivals and my mom worries everytime we are going to come back brainwashed and be in some Llama loving cult.) We had to prep for this fantastic festival by doing henna of course.

Disney On Ice

Last Saturday my mom took me and my sister and all the grandkids to Disney on Ice in Salt Lake. What an adventure that was! This was the only picture I could get of the show. I got yelled at 2 minutes after sitting down because I had a camera out. The show hadn't even started yet!! After I put my camera away and the show started 5 or 6 people around us whipped out their cameras and some even recorded the show with camcorders. Do they get yelled at? Of course not. Just my luck.

We all had a really good time, it reminded us of our super amazing Disney trip we went on a few months ago.

The kids were so nice throughout the whole show. All they wanted were sno cones... so me and Marci went down to concessions to get 6 snowcones- grand total... $87. I think it would have been cheaper to fly to Disneyland and get sno cones there.

Ty loved that Cars were in the ice skating show. I dont think I have ever seen someone clap so fast in my life. He turned to me and said very seriously "The Cars are so real." And then he stared into space to ponder how it all worked for a little while. Ha ha so cute. I love these kids!

It was a total rain/snow storm that day! We were not dressed for the awful weather at all. Mom, Marci and Ty took top priority for 'hair' reasons and huddled under the umbrella. This picture doesn't show how funny the 3 looked smooshed together trying to walk under it normally.

Here are the 'big' kids on the car ride home all hopped up on popcorn, soda, red vines, hot dogs, pizza and $12 sno cones. Thanks for the great day grandma! We love you!

The Chicken McNugget Challenge!!!!!!!

Once a week Mike and I have a date night. One date night we drove by a McDonalds and saw on their sign they had a deal, 50 chicken nuggets for $10. On the way to our date destination Mike and I got in a heated conversation about whether or not he could eat all 50 chicken nuggets in one sitting. So we decided for our date night the next week, thats what we would do.

I present to you The Chicken McNugget Challenge....

The 50 Chicken McNugget Challenge Rules we came up with:

Mike has to eat all 50 chicken nuggets in 1 hour and NO throwing up during the time he is eating the nuggets.

Once all the nuggets have been eaten he cannot throw up for 5 minutes afterward.

If he completes the challenge within an hour and there is no throwing up he gets $100 to do whatever he wants with, if he fails I get $100 to do whatever I want with.

Let the Challenge begin!

He looks pretty confident- 50 nuggets and a bunch of honey dipping sauce all ready to go.

This would be nugget #25 at around 15 minutes into the challenge. He isn't acting. That is real pain.

Here he is in the zone on nugget #50 at 56:20 into the challenge. Only 3 minutes left!!! Notice how the challenge has now brought him to his knees and he needed a cold towel on his neck to get him through the last few min.

Ahhhhhhhhhh sweet victory!!! Mike completes the eating portion of the challenge with a time of 58:25. He now must wait 5 minutes to see if he pukes before the challenge is officially won.

At the 5:01 minute mark Mike wins the challenge and earns $100 to spend how he chooses ( I bet it wont be on a gun ha ha). He said this was about as much celebrating as he could safely do. About three minutes after the challenge officially ended he slowly dragged himself into the bathroom and threw up everywhere. I am not kidding. It was not pretty. Let this be a warning to any of you who take this challenge lightly.

Aww my little Mikey just turned 23! I can't believe it. It's crazy to think I knew him when he was getting his drivers license!! The only thing Mike wanted from me for his birthday this year was for me to make my homemade cheesecake. Which of course I did after much groaning- I did not inherit my fathers cooking skills. It turned out pretty ok though.

Oh I failed to mention before he also asked for ammo for his 'baby'. He built an AR-15 over the past couple of months and he brings it EVERYWHERE........ I am not kidding.

After partying at the Liechtys house we went over to my parents for some more birthday fun. I guess 'Birthday fun' to Mike and my dad meant playing with the AR-15 inside the house for hours. Fun......

The only present Mike wanted from me at my parents birthday party was for me to make him perfect brownies in my perfect brownie pan I got for my birthday. So of course I did. Don't they look perfect? That is a very wonderful invention.

On Friday I completely surprised Mike with my real birthday present for him. I took him to the IFLY indoor skydiving building in Ogden. He was totally shocked!! I was so excited. He has always wanted to go skydiving but I am to scared to let him so this seemed safer.

Mike loved every minute of it! He was really good at it too! Towards the end of his session the instructor grabbed onto him and they flew up to the top of the tube it was awesome!

Afterwards we went to dinner at Happy Sumo in SLC and I had one more surprise for him.

For dessert I had ordered him a custom 'baby cake' from Flour Girls and Dough Boys bakery in American Fork. If you havent been before you should go! All their food is amazing!

Mike goes to every gun show he possibly can and the last gun show he went to with my dad and brother they all entered a raffle to win a gun. A month or so went by and Mike got a call from the company saying that he won- at first he was freaking out because he thought he won the gun but he won the 2nd place prize of a Frankenstien Bowie Knife custom made by Razors Edge Knife Shop in SLC Utah. When he went to pick it up they filmed him and put him on Youtube. He is a little camera shy. Anyways check it out! (p.s. the knife shop people dont always use the best language starting around minute 1:20... just fyi).

We're Famous!!!

Thanks to Marci for the reminder for me to post this...

A few weeks ago in the Daily Herald newspaper there was an ad for a contest to enter if you had a good proposal story and the top 10 stories would be published in the Daily Herald on Valentines Day. I sent in our story pretty much because I was bored that Sunday night and lets face it, Mike really did do a good job. So I hear nothing back from the paper during those weeks and I totally forget all about it. Then on Valentines Day on the way back from our mini getaway I get a billion phone calls and texts from people saying me and Mike are in the paper!

Mini Getaway!

Last weekend we decided to take a little break from the regular routine and headed down south for the weekend. We mostly just drove around and saw all the sites we hadnt seen while we pigged out on junk food, but on Saturday we took sometime to go on a mini 'hike'. It was beautiful weather down there and it was nice to get some fresh air!

We are professional models on the side just incase you were wondering.

We had a great time even though it was so short- it was nice to see our family we haven't seen for so long! We can't wait until we can sneek away again!

On January 13th I turned the big 2-4, aka OLD. My family totally spoiled me and helped me celebrate this lovely age even though in just a couple more years and I will need a walker.... ha ha ok on to the pictures.

So first of you may notice that my hair is now blonde! I needed a change so bad! Mike sent me off to the salon for my birthday and told me I could do whatever I wanted. I got some blonde and carmel highlights and added some more layers- new hair .... ahhh it feels so good.

That night my parents took the family out to Brick Oven so I could stuff myself full of pasta- my favorite!

Aspyn, Avery and Ty drew me great bday card/pictures for my birthday and Dakota made me this cake in her Easy Bake Oven. I have the cutest nieces and nephews ever!!

The birthday celebration continued on to the next day when Mikes side of the family took me out for dinner (more pasta woo hoo!) and then we came home to a huge chocolate cake and Cold Stone cupcakes another one of my favorites! (Geeze just look at all those candles, when did I get this old!?!?)

The next night Mike took me out to one last birthday dinner at my favorite place ever, Ghidottis in Park City. It was amazing as usual. After dinner we went to Cows ice cream in Park City for dessert. (Notice the very cute headband I am wearing, it was a bday present from Marci :) )

All my birthday treasures, I told you I was spoiled! And YES that is a perfect brownie pan, now you know where to come when you want a perfectly square brownie :)

JANUARY

For my 23rd Bday we mixed with the rich and famous at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City.

FEBRUARY

For Mikes 22nd Bday he received his beloved XBox. I am not so hapy about this present.... Boooooo

MARCH

We came to the sad relization that we are both old and fat as we had to rest many a time as we climbed the Y.

APRIL

One of the best girls days EVER! My mom, my sister and I went to see WICKED! It was amazing!!!

MAY

For Mothers Day we took Mikes mom, Lini, to Moab, she had never been. We had so much fun!

JUNE

We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary- and Mike surprised me by buying me my puppy, Tank, to celebrate.

JULY

How could I talk about July without mentioning my dearly beloved UTE STAMPEDE!!! YEEE HAWWWW!!!!

AUGUST

We headed down to Brian Head for a family reunion with Mikes moms side of the family. It was a beautiful and quiet. Mike and I loved to go out for walks every night in the woods. Shhh dont tell my mom.

SEPTEMBER

We took a trip with the Liechty clan up to Bear World in Idaho and then onto Yellowstone. We stayed in this awesome cabin in Island Park, ID. The view was amazing.

OCTOBER

One of my favorite months last year- my parents flew the family out to Disneyland!!! I think we should probably do this again in 2010 (hint hint) ....

NOVEMBER

Us- chilling by some fall foliage... I couldnt find any Thanksgiving pictures... I guess we didnt do much in November. Go us!

DECEMBER

Woo Hoo for brand new Christmas PJs!

We had a great 2009 and are so excited to see what 2010 brings! (Although I am sorry to say its not bringing any grandchildren, Moms and Dads Farrer & Liechty sorry....) We are so grateful for our wonderful family and friends thank you for all you do for us.

Heres a quick look at how our Christmas went this year - the computer finally decided it would let me post a few pictures...

Every year my side of the family goes to Thanksgiving Point and goes on a wagon ride through the Christmas lights in the -40 degree weather.

My mom bought everyone headbands to try and protect us from the cold, I dont think it worked much but we still had a blast!

Every year on Christmas Eve, my side of the family gets together and eats a ton of junk food, (props to Marci aka Martha Stewart for making the best fudge, peanut butter bars and sugar cookies EVER!) and watches a christmas movie- usually a Christmas Story, until the kids get to wound up from all the sugar and its time to put them in bed before Santa comes...

Then we head over to Mikes side of the family for Christmas Eve where we get to open one present which is always new pj's (MY FAVORITE! I could live in PJS) and play games- this year it was Wii Fit, until we are too tired and decide we should go to bed so Santa can come.

On Christmas morning we got up super early and opened our presents from Santa and the family. Mike got me some musicals- bless him :)

I gave Mike some new camo pants for hunting- which he didnt take off for the rest of the morning lol.

We went over to my parents house and opened more presents and played with my nieces and nephews and celebrated Shaes birthday.

We had a great Christmas- we still cant believe we have been married 1 year and half, the time has flown by!!

Disneyland!!!

I hate to brag but I pretty much have the most awesome parents ever! Last weekend they flew the whole family out to Disneyland for a few days and we had a blast!!

I was a little bummed a few days before the trip because our Walmart camera had finally bit the dust so we wouldn't have a camera for our family trip. But my sweet husband totally surprised me and bought his 'aspiring photographer' wife a very nice SLR Cannon Rebel camera the day before the trip. Even though I have no idea what I am doing with it I am having tons of fun playing around with it. Alright onto the pictures....

Outside our hotel. It was called the Candy Cane Hotel or something but I dont think I ever saw a candy cane the entire time lol.

So excited to go to Disneyland!!!

All the lines were super long so me and my nieces had an impromptu dance party and entertained everyone in line- thats how we roll.

One of the best parts of going to Disneyland was that I was able to see my bestest friend Mckenna who recently moved out to California for work.

It was so fun to be able to play around with her like we were kids again! Ty kinda liked her too...

One day Marci, Avery, Sage and I got to go to a princess lunch. While you ate a super fancy lunch all the princesses came around and you could take pictures of them and get their autograph. Sage and Avery were in heaven!

Before we had to get back to the airport we killed some time in downtown Disney.

I think they had more fun playing in that fountian than at Disneyland!

Puppy Love

Alright I admit it, Im a crazy dog lady. Im totally obsessed with my dogs and treat them like babies... I dont know where I got it from- not from anyone in the family obviously as I am the only one with pets. Anyways- The other day I had some time to kill before I went over to my moms house to watch Dancing With The Stars (something else I am crazy about!), and I took my boys into my room and snapped some family photos. Yes, I even dressed them up for the event. SHHH don't tell Mike. I dont have any sort of fancy photoshop or anything fun like that on my computer so I simply made them black and white and played a little with the contrast for fun. Enjoy!

Heres my 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Chopper. He's the sly one of the bunch, as you can tell by the picture. He is a total mommys boy.

This would be the newest addition- He is a 5 month old Olde English Bulldogg named Tank. The name fits him perfectly, he will eat anything. So far he has eaten carpet, plastic bags, dryer sheets, shoes, the list goes on and on. He is very nice and loves all my nieces and nephews!

Aww the first real portrait of the brothers. Holy Cow- go back and compare it to the 4th of July picture. Tank is ginormous!

Even though the last picture is cute- this is pretty much how they really act. They sure do love eachother and cuddle when they sleep but every minute spent awake they are usually playing tug of war over a bone or a toy or fighting to get to sit on my lap.

I just love my babies! I think its time for more!

So we just figured out that Tank, our 4 month old puppy Mike got me for our 1 year wedding anniversary is an Olde English Bulldogge and not an English Bulldog, which apparently are 2 completely different breeds. Tank is going to be 70 to 80 lbs instead of 40 lbs.... woops. So instead of getting rid of our baby we are going to try and find a new place to live since our condo doesnt allow pets over 30 lbs. We are looking for a 2 bedroom condo/apt or townhouse/rental home from Springville to Lehi that allows pets, if you know of anywhere please let me know!!!! Hopefully we can find a place soon or hide Tank really well or else we might be living in a cardboard box.

So I have been extremely lazy and have not updated this blog since, lets see.... the 4th of July! Even though all we do is work work work, sometimes we do fun things, here's what we have been up to...

At the end of July we went to Mikes moms side of the family- Family Reunion.... are you all still with me? Lol... It was down in Brianhead, UT. On the way to Brianhead, Mike, Steve and Ryan throught we should 'swing by' Las Vegas for the night, you know since its so close...

Mike and Steve enjoyed the buffets.

We squeezed in a little sight seeing. One of my favorite things to do is to watch the fountian show at the Bellagio.

The next day we were off to Brianhead. We stopped by Cedarbreaks, it was beautiful!

Mike got a little fishing in at Yankee Meadow Flats it was so beautiful.

For 'Family Night' Mike took me and Brock to the driving range. I have been to a driving range once before in my life. So this was quite the experience.

Next, it was my moms bday woo hoo!!! ( I wont mention numbers) but Iwill mention that I have the best mother! Happy Birthday Mom!

At the end of August, we went on a Bearworld/Yellowstone trip with the Liechtys. We had so much fun in Bearworld- its one of our favorite places to go!

We rented a cabin in Island Park, ID. This was the view from the back deck. What a beautiful place it was!

The next day we went to Yellowstone National Park. None of the Liechtys had been there before!

Somehow we managed to pack in most of the sites of Yellowstone into one day. It was awesome.

On the long car ride home I decided I was sick of my hair, so that night I dyed it brown and the next day I got some caramel colored highlights added and cut straight across bangs.... I stll dont know how I feel about it yet but its fun for a change! We'll see how long it lasts.

4th of July

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. We are lucky to live in Provo, close to all the action happening for the Freedom Fest.

We woke up super early and went to the hot air balloon festival and breakfast with Lini and Kylie. As you can see Mike was very excited.

I decided to make some treats for the fireworks that night. I tried to bring out the inner Marci Bedingfield/Martha Stewart in me and thought I would make some red, white and blue cupcakes.

I used red velvet cake batter, white cream cheese frosting and blue frosting for decoration. I think I will leave the home making to Marci.

Anniversary Gift

For our first wedding anniversary Mike surprised me with a 4 legged present! When I got home from work on Wednesday I had a 6 week old- Old English Bulldog puppy waiting for me!
We named our new baby Tank.

We have been looking for another puppy for a little while so Chopper would have a buddy, but Mike kept being hesitant. Who knew he had this up his sleeve?!?!

Chopper and Tank already get along so well. Tank loves to follow Chopper around all over the house, and tries to keep up even though he is super clumsy.
He is such a sweetheart! We love him tons!

One Year!!

Holy Cow! I cannot believe a whole year has past since Mike and I were married! The year has flown by for sure! As cheesy as it sounds- it has been the best year of my life.

On June 21st, 2008 Mike and I were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was such a beautiful day, and the hottest day recorded for Utah in 2008! Mike in his tux and me in my 30 lbs of wedding dress, we were drenched in sweat in just minutes after stepping outside the temple.
And even though it was super heavy and hot it still was pretty much my favorite part of the wedding. I wish I could wear my dress every day!!

People said our cheeks would get tired from smiling for all the pictures but we were just so happy that day we barely noticed.

We were so blessed to have so many of our family and friends be able to share in our special day with us.

I think Lyndsey cried more than I did!!

After a whirlwind day of pictures we had a beautiful reception in my parents backyard. My 6 nieces and nephews were my 'flower girls' and boys (what do you call the boys ha ha ha) I loved the girls dresses and I think they all did too, except Aspyn.

We told eachother we would be nice with the cake but I was the jerk and shoved it in Mikes face so of course he had to do it back. LOL

Our 'first dance' was to 'To Make You Feel My Love' By Adele.

It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!!!

Spandex Saturday

This Saturday we went to Kylies gymnastic meet. She is currently in level 4 and will hopefully be moving up to level 5 after her state meet in a couple weeks.

Out of the 20 girls in her age/level group she took 2nd! She was awesome we are so proud of her!

After watching little girls flip around in spandex leotards all day long, we were headed up to Salt Lake to watch a bunch of men beat eachother to death wearing about the same amount of spandex!! WOO HOO!!! lol

As you can see it was pretty hot..... this guy was about 50....

But here is who we really came to see.....Mikes good friend Derek who he works with. Derek is huge in the Utah Wrestling community and this was his last show. There was a huge crowd there to support him. Derek put on a great show and got slammed into a ladder, got beat with some sticks, threw himself and a guy into the ring filled with thumb tacks and to top it all off they threw themselves onto tables which broke onto the hard floor it was pretty awesome!

Moab

For mothers day we took my mother in law Lini to Moab. She had never been before and was so excited to go. As you can see Chopper was also very excited to go, he wouldnt get out of the way so we could pack up the jeep!

The first day we went to a place called 'The Powerhouse' its not to well known yet and its a pretty easy hike. In the middle of the hike it leads you to this beautiful waterfall. There were tons of people diving off of it into the water below, but we didn't get that adventurous.

In fact me and Lini were pretty boring and didnt even get wet. We left that up to Mike, Kylie and Chopper.

In the middle of the day we hiked all over Arches National Park. We decided to save the Delicate Arch hike until very last so we could see it at sunset.

We were totally pooped by the time we got there- as you can see by Mikes face.

We werent alone at Delicate Arch. There were TONS of people there photographing the arch at sunset. We ran over for about 20 seconds by the arch to get a picture and got yelled at by all of these people in unison. It was pretty funny.

Here's me trying to be a photographer with our walmart camera again. If you haven't hiked Delicate Arch at sunset I highly reccomend it- its BEAUTIFUL!

Ahhh what a wonderful weekend it was- the sun was shining, I was out with two of my most favorite people and we were headed to, WICKED!!! Woo Hoo!!

Somehow Marci scored us killer tickets to Wicked at the last minute and we had a girls day. My mom spoiled us and took us to lunch and to the show and out for dessert after. We have the best mom ever!

Here we are waiting in the 100 ft long womens restroom line 10 minutes before the show.... we were getting super excited!

Here we are in our seats- I dont know why but we always sit like this me, my mom, Marci, LOL I just noticed that. We had a great time- Wicked was amazing, the cast was so talented! I wish we could go everyday!

Driving, Driving, Driving...

Ever since we got our new Jeep Rubicon it seems like all we ever do is go on long drives whenever and wherever we can. On conference Sunday it was such a beautiful day and we were tired of sitting inside so we decided to go for a drive and listen to conference instead.

We ended up driving around Santaquin canyon and just sat back, listened to conference and looked at how beautiful it was up there. We were the only ones up the canyon it was awesome.

When conference ended we drove all the way down the canyon and decided to explore whever we could around the area. We drove all the way down to Nephi and headed towards Fountain Green. We turned off into some canyon that connects with the Nebo Loop and as it got dark we decided we better head back home..... thats when we of course, GOT STUCK!
Our Rubicon is pretty awesome and we can climb hills and go all over the place but its no match for really deep snow! Mike had to dig us out with a snow scraper for about a half hour. When that didn't work he went off into the woods, found some logs and put them under the tires and somehow manuvered our way out of there. Im lucky I married a manly man- there was no way I could have gotten us out of that mess!!!

This past week Mikes grandpa passed away. We drove up to Vernal, UT. For the viewing and then La Point, UT. for the burial. After the services we decided to 'swing by' Flaming Gorge before heading home.

It was so beautiful up there this time of year. It was so calm, no tourists or campers or anything yet, it was like we had the whole place to ourselves.

We sat and just thought awhile about Mikes grandpa and what he ment to us. Even though it made our drive home a while longer, it was worth it.

As we were walking back to our car, of course Mike hunted down some sort of wildlife,

this time it was a lizard. When Mike 'grows up' he wants to be Bear Grylls from the TV show, Man Vs. Wild. No really, Im serious....

Henna Party!

In honor of the festival of colors my best frind thew a henna party! We had curry, hummus, pitas, some cucumber yougurt dip (it was delish!), did hennah of course and watched bollywood movies. It was so much fun!

We had to wear bindi of course. We can't wait to go to the festival of colors today woo hoo!

While my sister and her hubby were out of town this weekend I helped watch their kids. I love to play with my neices and nephew we have so much fun!

Hiking to the Y

Since its been such great weather here lately, Mike comes up with this crazy idea...

Hey lets go hike to the Y!

There are a couple things wrong with this idea though....

A. We are fat

B. We are out of shape

C. Those two things dont mix with hiking....

Chopper was excited he got to come, he ran practically the whole way up!

Here we are at turn 5, thats only halfway.

We were extremely exhausted. Can you tell?

But alas we persevered and made it to the top!
Mike calls these pictures our
"Zoobie Spirit" shots.

Chopper ran all over the Y, we were afraid he would lose his footing and tumble all the way down the mountain, it was steep!

The view from the Y is awesome, we made it up there right as the sun was setting-

it was so beautiful!

Happy that we finally made it....

But this is how we really felt.

Words of advice- maybe if you are fat and out of shape like us, dont tackle the Y hike for your first bit of exercise... LOL

Photographer... Sadly I think not..

The other day Mike and I went shooting and I got all inspired by the landscape and whipped out our little digital camera from Walmart and started taking some pictures.... and this is how they turned out.... not so fab. I love photography and maybe one day when we aren't in the poorhouse we will be able to afford a better camera and I will learn to be a better photographer.

On a slightly different tangent I am so grateful that I live here in Utah where we have all 4 seasons and different landscapes. It is such a beautiful area we are truely blessed!

MR Network PaRtY!!!

The company I work(MR. Network) for is expanding like crazy- we are looking to double the amount of agents we have and to do that we obviously need to hire double the amount of people asap! To get people interested in the company we hosted a dance party along with Fuse drinks. We gave away over $2000 worth of prizes to the people who showed up and had some sweet DJ's!

Me and my oh so lovely receptionists walked around the crowd getting phone numbers and names of those interested in working for our company.

I think we spent more time taking funny pictures of ourselves than doing our job...

I think the faces fit the Hotties title... dont you?

Mike was a good sport and helped out with the security. His three years of experience in the security field helped out :)

All in all it was a very successful night, we had a big crowd that showed up and a lot of people who were interested in the company. Now if they all get hired i'm going to have a lot more paperwork to do :(
